PRSA 2010 International Conference presenter, Geno Church, word of mouth inspiration officer, Brains On Fire, speaks with Eric Schwartzman, host of “On the Record…Online,” about igniting movements of brand ambassadors. Church presented a session titled, “The Word-of-Mouth Confessional: Lessons Learned in Creating Brand Movements,” at the PRSA International Conference in Washington, D.C.
Drawing from his experiences of creating communities of brand ambassadors, Church discusses customer engagement and the differences between passion conversations and product conversations.
At Brains On Fire, Church develops word of mouth, buzz, viral and evangelism strategies for the agency’s clients. Church has helped build word of mouth into the identities of brands including Fiskars Brands, the American Booksellers Association, National Family Partnership, and Rage Against the Haze (South Carolina’s youth-led anti-tobacco movement).
