Sip and Savor: Susan Neely Discusses Communication Strategy in the Beverage Industry

Neely WebSusan Neely, president and CEO, American Beverage Association, speaks with Eric Schwartzman, host of “On the Record…Online,” about the communication strategies and advocacy efforts in the beverage industry. Neely will participate in the public affairs panel titled, “Shaping the Debate: Public Affairs Strategies and the Health Care Reform Bill,” at the PRSA International Conference in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 18.
 
Neely is president and CEO of the American Beverage Association, the leading policy and public education advocate for the non-alcoholic beverage industry. She was one of the architects of the Department of Homeland Security, for which she served in the White House and as assistant secretary for public affairs. Neely also has health care policy and advocacy experience through positions at the Health Insurance Association of America and Association of American Medical Colleges.
