Silver Anvil logo2The PRSA 2010 Silver Anvil Awards podcast series features finalists from this year's program. The Silver Anvil Award recognizes complete public relations programs incorporating measurable and sound research, planning, execution and evaluation. These four areas represent the solid criteria by which senior practitioners judge each entry to ensure it meets the highest standards of performance in the profession.

07H-15The goal of the campaign was to celebrate the New International Version’s 30th anniversary by creating the first handwritten version of its Bible. At each stop, everyday Americans across the country were invited to contribute a verse to the project. After visiting over 100 cities in 44 states, the tour wrapped in June 2009 with a final stop at Zondervan headquarters where the CEO of Zondervan and The Committee on Bible Translation (CBT), who were responsible for translating the original NIV 30 years ago, wrote the final verses. LE&A’s effort resulted in more than 50 million media impressions, a tremendous amount of goodwill for Zondervan among the publisher’s core audience and early sales projections that have predicted a sizeable return on the company’s investment.
