The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is heading to Indianapolis, one of the nation’s top cities for the life-sciences profession, for its 2013 Health Academy Conference. The conference will take place May 1-3, at the Omni Severin Hotel.
Held annually, the Health Academy Conference provides public relations and communications professionals with insights on the latest trends, technologies and regulations impacting health care communications. The program focuses on providing practical, actionable advice that can be used to overcome modern health care communications challenges, such as legal and regulatory compliance, measurement and evaluation, and the use of social media.
In this podcast Health Academy Executive Committee member, Ellen Beth Levitt, senior communications specialist at Johns Hopkins Medicine interviews Morgan Greenlee, senior communications manager at Visit Indy, about some of the interesting attractions to see and fun activities to do for attendees of the conference while visiting Indianapolis. Morgan describes some of the many noteworthy attractions within walking distance of the Omni Severin Hotel.
The Health Academy Conference is one of the premier networking opportunities for the nation’s health care communicators. Hundreds of public relations and communications professionals from all over the world — including professionals working in public relations agencies, corporations, the government and military, health care institutions, associations, nonprofit organizations and academia — attend the conference each year to meet like-minded colleagues, share knowledge, uncover new opportunities and make valuable personal connections.
