Ofield Dukes on Communicating with Diverse Audiences

Ofield DukesOfield Dukes, APR, Fellow PRSA, an award-winning public relations practitioner in Washington, D.C., discusses the implications of America’s increasing racial, ethnic and cultural diversity for businesses and nonprofit organizations, particularly graduating college seniors and professional communicators.
 
Dukes delivered his presentation on April 8, 2010, at Buffalo State University, and was introduced by fellow PRSA Board of Directors member, Deborah Silverman, Ph.D., APR, assistant professor of communications. The presentation is available on video and podcast.
Dukes is president of Ofield Dukes & Associates, whose clients have included General Motors, Motown Records, and AT&T.
 
The event was sponsored by the Buffalo State University's Equity and Campus Diversity Office, the Communication Department, and the student chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.
