Jack Holt, APR, senior strategist for emerging media at the U.S. Department of Defense, speaks with Eric Schwartzman, host of “On the Record…Online,” about the social media practices in place at the U.S. Department of Defense, and how staff are safely and effectively sharing their stories.
In his role, Holt incorporates new media tools with traditional public affairs channels to maximize the effect of the Department of Defense’s communication efforts. Holt has briefed senior leaders on social media and conducted strategy sessions to address corporate level strategic objectives.
